Change IPC Firmware Lincoln MKZ to Mondeo MK5/Fusion

Flashed today the GS7T-14C026-AJD firmware and the trip computer shows the 4 quadrants...

Must be a Europe only option... Plus yours is in KM and such.

No it's not. Well technically it is for 2015... The one we both flashed is the newest. The GS7T-AJD. Notice the G in front not an F. . F=2015MY G=2016MY. Soon there will be an H. Probably starting with AJA/AJB.

Yep. It will work in the F series just not the D series.

I like the persistent speed limit sign while driving... here in USA we don't have traffic sign detection so it pulls it from the Navigation on the APIM when the street has a known speed limit.

Ford won't officially let you flash another Model Years update, in this case the firmware is for 2016 but the 2015 hardware is physically the same.

What does it mean when it says keys not found during an attempted IPC firmware upgrade?

I am attempting to update firmware on a NA 2017 Explorer high level IPC to EU 2016 Edge IPC.

After saying keys not found it attempts a forced programming but fails.

What hardware number is reported by the vbf loader?
What firmware set is used on the Explorer and what set would you like to flash?

The key issue means that the hardware number read from your cluster is not the expected one from your car selection. For example: I tried to flash a Lincoln MKZ cluster while selecting Mondeo 2015 as the car type => key error. When selecting Fusion 2013 (as the MKZ cluster wasfrom 2013) it worked.

I was trying to help him with this the other day and we didn't have much luck. He actually has 2 of these clusters... one from a 2017 Ford Explorer Platinum and one from a 2016 Lincoln MKC SUV.
The explorer part number is: HB5T-10849-EA
The MKC part number is: FJ7T-10849-CD

Trying to flash them to: GM2T-10849-APG

So, u gave the firmware version, but what other files do we need, we need 5 files to update the IPC...

bootloader, 2 firmwares en 2 calibration files, correct?
