recover APIM GB5T...after failed Update to 1U5T-14G375....

I tried to Update APIM to fully support Sync 3.4 on a Focus MK3 05/2017

I think I got the informations wrong

I tried to Update two files

SBL = GB5T-14G376-AA.vbf
1 = 1U5T-14G374-DA.vbf
2 = 1U5T-14G375-FA.vbf

First it didn't write the files, but playing with the settings it wrote them.

Then the Sync didn't turn on again.

Trying to write these two files back as they where give an error while writing

SBL = GB5T-14G376-AA.vbf
1 = GB5T-14G374-CB.vbf
2 = GB5T-14G375-FA.vbf

Errors: Failed to programming the flash! Error: Reuqest Sequence Error [0x24}
or Error: Conditions Not Correct [0x22]

I Could flash rhe GB5T-14G374-CB.vbf and after this the Sync wakes up again.
But if I try to flash the GB5T-14G375-FA.vbf, I still get the error.

And if I read the DTCs, there is a code U3000:41-0B / 0x41 / general checksum failure


So how to get it flashed to the files:
1 = GB5T-14G374-CB.vbf
2 = GB5T-14G375-FA.vbf

Thanks! That gave me enough info to download and try GB5T-14G375-DA.VBF which worked and APIM is now working again.

Do you think I can use the GB5T-14G375-DA.VBF on my Sync an then try the GB5T-14G375-FA.vbf ?



Do you already installed the 3.4 Apps?

Is there a way to get these back to 3.0 ?

I guess it will be possible for downgrade. Yes, I have 3.4, but I have to flash also my APIM next week with the newest software

No you won't be able to get back to 3.0x because of reformatting Sync3 to other partition shematic.
Once you installed 3.3 or greater there is no way back until someone will find out and share wich reformatting tool
is used for version 2,x to 3,0x

I saw there, there is a new version of UCDS.

Is it now possible to write the GB5T-14G375-FA.vbf, without getting an error?

it is not possible to downgrade to 3.0 from 3.4 as the tool used to goto 3.4 partitions the internal memory to size that is incorrect for 3.0

I sill get an error of the APIM

Error U2100: Initial Configuration Not Complete
It's an J9RT (I think (build Focus RS 2017/04))

I guess it's because of trying to flash the other config in the past.
The stock APIM has had two tables less in the direct configuration.

It all works with sync 3.4 on it.

Should I ignore the error, or is there a better config, which I can write on the APIM?
