Flashed CM5T-14C318-AD.vbf to Focus MK3 - Display now dead

Hi all,

I'd appreciate a little help from the experts

I decided to try and flash my MK3 with the F1ET IPC files like some of you guys have done. Big mistake. Parts of it failed!

I can still start the car and drive, however, all the display is dead, no speedo, rpm, fuel etc. I did at one point have speedo and rpm until I accidentally flashed CM5T-14C318-AD.vbf (which also failed part way through), now it's all dead.

Does anyone know what I can do to recover from this? If I can at all. Will part numbers have changed? How would i update a dead module?

Hi guys,

same problem in here. Loaded wrong VBF file into F108 and the IPC is dead (no response).
part: BK2T-10849-LD. the original f108 was BK21-14C318-AD and I loaded BK21-14C318-AE.

I've got the IPC on my desk, connected directly to the adapter (same as other IPC I got that works and that I can flash).

What's next?

Sometimes issues of a module like the IPC can cause termination problems. Check the DC resistance across the relevant pins on the OBD port. Should be around 60 ohm.
