Upgrade smax 140 to 163 Cv

Hello,

My name is Ramon, i Am waiting for buy ucds cable. I have some friends with engine dw10c.

I would like know if there is any Tutorial or guide for make the changes, step by step, for upgrade the engine from 140 Cv to 163 Cv, i Think that i need the ucds cable, it is correct? Is there anyone some video or pictures for make it?

I found this information in the wiki UCDS but for Kuga2!

Применимо для: Куга2, AWD, PS, Дизель

Читаем конфигурацию.
Выбираем во вкладке «Тип двигателя» Дизель 163.
Записываем конфигурацию в машину.
В «Спец. процедуры» делаем инициализацию ABS.
В «Программирование PCM», кликаем на «Изучить подстройки CCCDisel»
В «DTС» стираем ошибки.
Пуск двигателя, можно даже и прокатиться.
Считываем ошибки и стираем их.

For Smax is the same procedure???

You need now IDS

ELM + ELMconfig + IDS =140->163

I have the elm327 cable from tunnel rate electronics (uk), with switch for HS/MS.

Then i need other cable? or with elmdff2 is enough? if i need other cable do you can, please, tell me one link for buy it?

For me unfortunately it did not work out to update to 163PS, although using UCDS and IDS. Just had a heavy nailing sound from the engine and Ford needed to set back the pcm values.
