@polofox
Believe me or not, you'll never install a firmware FS7T, GS7T or newer on this cluster, it has the wrong processor on board (SPC5604 instead of SPC5606)

Re: Change IPC Firmware Lincoln MKZ to Mondeo MK5/Fusion
I've given up the operation.
Because I made a mistake with my RCM.
Do you know how UCDs views error records?
I know that there are two errors in the operation, but where do I know that there are those errors?

Re: Change IPC Firmware Lincoln MKZ to Mondeo MK5/Fusion
Hello all,
I am looking to update my IPC to latest firmware in order to get the digital speedo in the center of my cluster mainly. Having trouble finding the courage, don't want to end up with a bricked IPC. I am running FORSCAN v2.4.3, I know most of you are UCDS software but I assume they can accomplish the same goal... Any how I have a 2016 Lincoln MKX (I know this isn't an MKX thread), I have a OBDlink EX wired adapter as recommended by FORSCAN and have the recommended files per the software recommendation. I am looking to confirm if anyone that has experience with doing this can see any issues with the files prior to me attempting the flash. I've attached the files that are being recommended. I know lots of you have done the Lincoln cluster conversion so I hoping some will have an idea if this will work or fail. I also don't have the original files to reload them if it does fail (Not available anymore on ford site) and don't see a place to save them within the FORSCAN software. Any help/advise is appreciated.

Re: Change IPC Firmware Lincoln MKZ to Mondeo MK5/Fusion
Thanks, 2gfusions was helpful. Upgrade Completed successfully!, with the help of all three forums info. I like to make sure I have as much info as possible before attempting this as I didnt have a backup cluster if this failed.fordsmaxtcdi писал(а): ↑17 май 2021, 06:03 http://www.2gfusions.net/showthread.php?tid=5855

Re: Change IPC Firmware Lincoln MKZ to Mondeo MK5/Fusion
I tried to do a IPC update to an EDGE 2016 but I get the following error: "error: Unknown type or module ... Or Seed key not accepted".
The car had the original GM2T and I wanted to install JS7T.
Can you tell me a solution so I can update?

Re: Change IPC Firmware MKZ to Mondeo 5
Hello, I have a DP5T-10849-CJ cluster and I cannot program it with Mondeo software. Can you tell me what is the solution to the problem?as2222us писал(а): ↑01 дек 2016, 15:29 Great Job Dan, it's really the newest firmware on the cluster. The trip computer is changed in this version as well.

In the meanwhile i figured my update problem out....
The 2013 MKZ (and presumably also the 2014 MKZ) IPC has an smaller main processor on board. The SPC5604 used in the 2013 MKZ cluster has 512kB flash rom, the newer boards have an SPC5606 wit 1MB flash....
Thats the reason why i get errors when flashing a 1 MB vbf file on a 512kB flash memory....
