Focus RS 2.3 2016+ Engine Sound Enhancement Disable

Hi.

The dealers using IDS Can switch off the electronically generated fake engine noise using the following option:

IDS > ACM > Engine Sound Enhancement > Disable

Is there a way to alter this setting using UCDS?

when i connect to focus 3 with a V3 adapter and try to read from the acm in direct config it gives errors on dash like service now and emergency call function not available and then dash goes blank as if ignition is turned off i then have to leave direct config or remove adapter and recycle ignition am i supposed to be checking the box for mm-can?

Edit seems fixed now in new software version

When I connect to my 2018 Focus RS I found that UCDS reports ESE as Disabled but when I try to change the selection, nothing happens. The ESE is also still active and so far has not been disabled through the ACM.

I am also unable to access the As Built function by reading the BCM.

Is there something I missed that I need to do first?

I have just confirmed that the ESE setting is not accessed in the ACM on the 2018 Focus RS but via the DACMC. I did not find the DACMC setting available in UCDS.

the fake noise is only turned off in ACM in european models the usa version is easier you just disconnect the feng in the trunk
