Mondeo/Fusion MK5 IPC DTC for Parking Aid - (Resolved)
Добавлено: 17 янв 2017, 16:30
I was just curious if anyone has come across this DTC before on the Fusion/MKZ/Mondeo MK5?
It is in the IPC (Instrument Cluster)
DTC Code: U045A:82-0A
Invalid Data Received From Parking Assist Control Module A
--Alive/Sequence Counter Incorrect/Not Updated
As some may know, I swapped my instrument cluster from the standard Fusion dual screen cluster (same as used in the Mondeo Hybrids) to the regular Mondeo style (used in Lincoln MKZ here in USA).
My old instrument cluster did not have this DTC, only my better replacement one does.
Due to this DTC, my parking aid chimes do NOT work. When the car is parking and turning the steering wheel by itself. I do not get the chimes to stop and shift the vehicle. I have to pay attention to what is written on the Sync 3 display.
With my previous instrument cluster, prior to the swap, my chimes worked perfectly.
I do have a 2014 Ford Fusion (USA) that has the PAM flashed with 2017 Fusion firmware and upgraded from Sync 2 to Sync 3. So it makes it harder to diagnose the issue. However, I feel the issue is IPC related as the previous IPC worked perfect in this same situation. (or perhaps a hidden memory block on the PAM has an incorrect value).
The new PAM firmware uses the 2015+ Focus 3 style PAM and not the old Mondeo style PAM software. Thus, I have to select FOCUS3 in UCDS to modify the values in the PAM module.
This applies to almost all of the newer FORD Vehicles....2016+ Mondeo, 2017+ Fusion, 2017+ MKZ, etc...
If anyone here owns a 2016 Mondeo (not 2014/2015) w/ Automatic Transmission and has parking aid... send me a pm if you are willing to provide some PAM (736) module data for me.
