Enable Choice of Any DRL Option

I figured this out the other day.... enjoy!

This is more for Fusion (North America) owners than Mondeo (Europe) owners, as Fusions do not have the White LED Bar on the headlights (2013-2016 MY).
However, these options will work for Mondeo also if you do not want the white LED bar as DRL and wish to change it to something else.

Allow All Alternate DRL Options (Restrictions Removed - No Invalid Configuration or Write Failed Errors):

I have this listed in both UCDS Direct Config Format and As-Built Format depending on which you prefer...

BCM:

Allow All DRL Choices in DRL Mask:
UCDS: DE2C (Diagnostics 02).... DRLlamp Mask Cfg: Enter 7F into box and write changes.

As-Built: 726-45-01: xxxx 7Fxx xxxx

DRL Lamp Choice:
UCDS: DE31 (Exterior Lighting 05)... DRL Lamp Cfg: Pick an option from the dropdown box and write changes.

As-Built: 726-50-01: XXxx
XX:

01 = Disabled
02 = Low Beams
04 = Front Fog Lamps
08 = Front Turn Lamps
10 = Dedicated DRL Lights (LED Light Bars/Strips) - Enables BCM DRL Outputs - C2280C Pins 36 (Right) and 40 (Left)
20 = High Beams
40 = Low Beams and Dedicated DRL Lights

Optional: Enable Parking Lights with DRL:
Can be combined with other DRL options above
UCDS: DE19 (Exterior Lighting 01)... DRL IncludeParkLamps Cfg: Select Enable and write changes.

As-Built: 726-26-02: x1xx xxxx xxxx

Optional: Disable DRL Switchback w/Turn Signal:
UCDS: DE19 (Exterior Lighting 01)... DRL WithTurn Cfg: Select Allow and write changes.

As-Built:726-26-02: xxx0 xxxx xxxx

On/Off for DRL is controlled from the Instrument Cluster (IPC) DRL Control Menu

Note: To test... DRLs are only active when vehicle is on, headlight switch is in automatic headlights position, and transmission is in Drive. Engine does not have to be running and E-Brake can be engaged.
