I have noticed a few instructions and instructions in UCDS WIKI.
New users have to read a lot of forum topics to get the basic information. But that's just marginal.

Change mls to km, I solved by uploading the dump eeprom 24c16 - ic2 programmer from Mondeo with a smaller km km ... It was of course EU version not UK.

I updated the Convers + version for the facelift old on the 1007 version.

My advice!!!
Never try to write a newer version to the old pcb !!! Maximum 1007!
After writing, the pointers are rotated to the wrong positions. It is then necessary to break the convers+ and set the pointers manually to the correct position!
For example, pictures:

version 11xx is for ipc AM2T
version 10xx and lower is for ipc 8M2T

There is no problem writing there, there is little information.
Failure to write firmware will damage the pointers!

I don't know if you have had the board completely out of the IPC, but i had this problem with the needles - when you refit the needles after them being removed, you MUST turn the needle as far as it will got - they all have a hard soft position, set that as zero point for the needles. when you turn the dash on, it goes through an initialisation process and resets all the dials to "zero" by turning them back until they stop.

i had a nightmare with dials going all over the place when i pulled mine apart - though i'd fried it! then realised what it was

If you want the later firmware i suggest you speak to alex (motral) or use the custom firmware in UCDS - he does the later (11xx) firmware with updated icons, PDC etc but also fixed the DTC generated by the drivers seat restrain module so no airbag light!

convers+ I have been dealt several times ... I have no problem with this, worse it can be for people who just want to upgrade a newer version and erroneously end up at a point that can be returned only by breaking IPC and returning the pointers to the original state. Be careful!
