Change IPC Firmware Lincoln MKZ to Mondeo MK5/Fusion

So, u gave the firmware version, but what other files do we need, we need 5 files to update the IPC...

bootloader, 2 firmwares en 2 calibration files, correct?

What are you referring to?

My original MKZ post or helping JMR get his cluster flashed to Edge firmware?

Either way all 5 files are listed.

I read through it and still wonder which 5 files I need to use, I found bootloader and the firmware file ...

@JMR and Dan,

have you tried all Fusion model years for the IPC programming?
If you are able to program the eeprom you can change the hardware type to a supported one (Fusion or Mondeo) to get the firmware on the cluster..

This is what it states in the process logging:

Requesting hardware part number...
HW part number: HB5T-10849-EA
Detected module: IPC
Searching for keys...
No Keys found. Key brute-force will be started...
Prepare "sleep all modules" to HS3
Programming mode OK!
Requesting mode OK!
Requesting protected mode...
Unknown type of module...No SEED KEY found in base...

Anf then it asks to shut off the ignition and the process terminates.

I have tried both the Edge and Explorer for vehicle settings but those don;t even allow it to read the HW park number. I get the above when I select vehicle type as Mondeo 15+.

Also the only vehicle setting where it seems to be able to detect the IPC is Mondeo >15...nothing else detects the IPC. I tried all others.

Try select manual CAN-Bus from HS3 to HS

Did that already....doesn't see the IPC then. Fails to retrieve IPC HW part number. I also tried all vehicles listed in the UPDATER and the Mondeo >15 is the only one that is able to poll the IPC. Even using the USA EDGE 16 which is what the vehicle is...only successfully polls a few modules. The Mondeo >15 appears to poll all of them.
